SATRA is accredited by the National Professional Qualifications Board (ProBoard). Certification tests are available within the State of Michigan and can be conducted separately or at the end of a related training course. Successful test candidates are placed on ProBoard’s national registry and receive ProBoard certification in the related discipline.
What is the ProBoard?
The ProBoard is an internationally-recognized means of acknowledging professional achievement in the fire service and related fields. The ProBoard accredits organizations that use the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA’s) professional qualification standards. An organization that is accredited can then make ProBoard certification available to individuals.
