SATRA’s patent-pending, fall-prevention burner entry system allows users to be safe and efficient while performing service and maintenance to a tower dryer burner.

This state-of-the-art system can be retro-fitted to many brands and sizes of tower dryers. A quick installation ends with training so your team is ready to safely engage with the burner. The rail system components remain inside the dryer, during use. The internal components are rated up to 600° F.

To use, simply put on your harness, latch the unique 4-in-1 rope system onto your person and hook the remaining carabiner to the rail system. The weight rating for this system is 310 pounds.

With this one system, you now meet fall prevention safety requirements. The user can safely enter the burner and move around freely while attached to the no-fall system.

This system meets OSHA requirements

  • 1926.501(b)(1) “Unprotected sides and edges.” Each employee on a walking/ working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.

Unprotected sides and edges are the highest uncontrolled safety risk at a grain facility.

To date, there is no standard way to manage or protect workers in this area, until now.
